The movie "Secret Life of Bees" http://www.foxsearchlight.com/thesecretlifeofbees/
based on the wonderful book by Sue Monk Kidd http://www.suemonkkidd.com/ made me think about bees.
Spent a few years as a scientific illustrator for the USDA Bee Lab www.loganbeelab.usu.edu/.

Summerfest
http://www.logansummerfest.com/about-us.php, a link to Logan's Summerfest. Even though I have been part of the art fair for many years, I am passing it up this year. The entry fee has doubled, making it the same as city art fairs. Logan is a small lower income area and with the current economic conservatism, I don't think I could break even. The life of an artist. All that time so little money. Do it for the love of it.
